Title: Scientist – Neuroscience
Job Summary: The Scientist of Neuroscience works with the product development team, with expertise in Neuroscience, specifically in the area of Neurodegeneration.
Essential Functions:
- Provide scientific leadership to the product development and Quality Control teams
- Identify emerging trends in the marketplace that represent growth opportunities for the Neuroscience portfolio
- Validate new antibody specificities
- Identify opportunities for and execute the development of new products, including antibodies and immunoassays
- Initiate new product leads
Knowledge & Abilities:
- Western blot
- ELISA development
- Tissue/cell culture and other immunology techniques
- Industrial experience in an ISO certified or GMP environment
- Multi-color Flow Cytometry (surface and intracellular)
- Basic Molecular Biology technical and handling skills
Education: PHD or better in Biology or related field.
Experience: 2 years post-doctoral experience
