RA/SRA Flow Cytometry

 

Responsibilities:

The candidate will develop advanced Flow Cytometry assays to measure pharmacodynamic [PD] effects of compounds/molecules and qualify assays for use in non-clinical or clinical studies to measure PD effects of compounds/molecules. He/she will outsource flow Cytometry assays to outside CRO labs for implementation in non-clinical and clinical studies. The incumbent will also present assay data to appropriate forums for review.

 

Requirements:

This position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences or other equivalent educational backgrounds with at least five years of experience in assay development and/or drug development. Knowledge of cell biology, immunology, molecular biology or related fields is a key factor to success in this role. The candidate must have extensive knowledge of complex Flow Cytometry assay technologies. He/she must also have experience with: multi-color Flow Cytometry, all BD flow cytometers (FACS Calibur, Canto II and LSR II), BD Diva, BD CellQuest and FlowJo software and multiple data analysis software, such as JMP.
