Responsibilities
In order to cater for our growing flow cytometry needs, we are seeking
a full time Technician for a 12 month contract to assist in the daily
operation of the facility.
The position will require interaction with investigators, perform
sorting experiments, and assist users running their own samples.
Criteria
An understanding of multilaser systems, optics, computer networks,
basic cell biology and immunology, existing flow analysis software
(CellsQuest, FlowJo, Diva etc.) immunofluorescence reagents, flow
cytometry methods is an advantage.
An aptitude for working with complex instrumentation and an ability to
diagnose and troubleshoot problems with flow cytometers is essential.
The applicant should minimally have a Bachelor of Science.
