Job Title: Cell Sorter Operators

Location: Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (Los Angeles,CA)

Hours: Full Time - Flexible hours

Overview: CSMC is seeking full time flow cytometry operators to help operate and maintain the facility's sorter and analyzer machines which are employed on a multi-user basis, for projects in several areas, including immunology and stem cell research. The successful candidate will assist with operation and maintenance of cell sorter and analyzer machines, as well the development and implementation of new techniques/protocols. Previous experience in cell sorter operation and knowledge of FACSDiva flow cytometry software preferred. Specific responsibilities will include: multi-laser flow cytometer applications, troubleshooting flow cytometer instrumentation and software issues, sorting sterile cell cultures, providing instruction on data acquisition and analysis for the facility users. Experience and Skill Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in a Biological Science or related field with previous experience in Flow cytometry (any level)

Organizational skills and detail-oriented

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

FACS Sorting experience (highly preferable)

Facility management experience a plus

Previous experience in cell sorter operation and knowledge of FACSDiva flow cytometry software preferred.
