The Cyometry and Cell Sorting Core facility (CCSC) at Baylor College of Medicine is currently accepting applications for two Flow Cytometry Technologist positions to join the team in our busy, well-equipped laboratory.

The CCSC has 6 flow cytometric analyzers, Three cell sorters, a microfluidic based cell sorter, a magnetic cell separator and a viability analyzer. The CCSC is currently expanding to include image based flow cytometry with an Amnis Image Scanning cytometer to complement both standard flow cytometry and image based cell selection methods.

The ideal candidate (or candidates) will be experienced in a research laboratory environment and be committed to providing the best in technical expertise and collaboration to the entire research community. Strong teamwork within the core staff is critical to success. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in interactions with a large and diverse research community are essential. The positions range from junior to more senior allowing little to no experience to having a research back ground. Salary will be commensurate with applicable experience and qualifications.
