Streck is recruiting for a talented and professional Medical Technologist for a full-time position as a Technical Service Representative. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. This position offers the opportunity to utilize your technical skills in an office environment.

This position is responsible for investigating, troubleshooting and resolving technical product issues and customer concerns via e-mail and telephone for laboratories worldwide.  We are looking for a candidate who will take pride in service-oriented work and enjoy using their technical and regulatory knowledge as it applies to the laboratory in a non-bench position.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in medical technology or medical laboratory science with ASCP certification
  • 5-10 years’ experience in a clinical laboratory setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent data analysis and problem solving skills
  • Excellent phone/e-mail étiquette
  • Must be dependable, organized and have attention to detail
  • Thorough knowledge of good lab practices and quality control procedures
  • Experience with flow cytometry and/or molecular diagnostics preferred
