Requirements:

License/Certification/Education: This position requires a Medical Technologist Degree or equivalent and city/state licenses or permits to qualify as a Technologist w/4 + years experience in a Clinical Laboratory. 

Minimum of two years in clinical Flow Cytometry data analysis experience with a focus on Leukemia/Lymphoma assessments. Prefer experience in Flow Cytometry data analysis software, FCS Express, but not required. 

Preferred Certifications include: MT certification or accreditation by ASCP, HEW, AMT. 

Must be able to pass standardized color vision test and work overtime as business needs require. 

Job Description:

• Performs routine and moderate to complex tests and analyses according to established procedures in designated technical department.
• Evaluates new procedures or methods under direct supervision of department supervisor or group leader.
• Assists in training and orientation of personnel as assigned.
• Demonstrates knowledge in application of theory and clinical relevance of multi-color flow cytometry with experiences in data analysis.
• Requiring a thorough knowledge of hematopoietic disorders and understanding of immunophenotypic results in different neoplastic processes is desired.
• Other duties as assigned.
