
Opening: Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician for clinical Flow Cytometry department in beautiful Oregon!
PeaceHealth’s award-winning laboratory in scenic Eugene, Oregon is seeking talented MT or MLT’s. We run a fast paced and well established flow cytometry lab serving as the hub for a large medical system and multiple oncology practices. The flow cytometry team interacts closely with pathologists and clinicians, and problems and projects are reviewed at monthly department meetings where open dialog is encouraged and interesting cases are reviewed. Testing is performed using 10-color Beckman Coulter flow cytometers, performing clinical testing for leukemia/lymphoma, immunodeficiency, PNH and other conditions. Training on lab procedures, acquisition protocols and data analysis using Kaluza software will be provided.

Requirements include:
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry or Biological Science or equivalent. Certified Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Lab Technician (MLT), Medical Lab Scientist (MLS), ASCP or equivalent is preferred.
Prior experience in Flow Cytometry is preferred , including sample processing and labeling; and listmode analysis of leukemia/lymphoma samples. Basic familiarity with WHO leukemia/lymphoma classification is preferred.
