The ECOG/ACRIN Leukemia Translational Research Laboratory and Leukemia Tissue Bank under the leadership of Dr. Elisabeth Paietta have an open position for a flow cytometrist. The laboratory houses two cytometers, a FACSCanto II and a Gallios. Experience with Beckman-Coulter flow cytometers, such as FC 500 or Gallios would be a plus.

The laboratory performs flow cytometric eligibility studies on all leukemia patients prior to enrollment in ECOG-ACRIN led leukemia trials. Furthermore, patients are monitored for flow cytometric Minimal Residual Disease. Material from all patients is banked in the Leukemia Tissue Bank for isolation of nucleic acids and PCR analysis.

The laboratory, currently located at the Wakefield Campus of Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY, is planned to move to the Moses Campus into a newly renovated suite by May 1, 2015.
