The CSMC Flow Cytometry Core is seeking a full time flow cytometrist to operate and maintain the facility's state-of-the-art sorter and analyzer machines, including BD Arias II and III, BD Influx, LSRII, and Fortessa, among others. In line with the rapid growth of the CSMC research enterprise, the Flow Cytometry Core has recently expanded to a new building and its sorters and analyzers are employed on a multi-user basis, for projects in many areas, including immunology and stem cell research.  Thus, flow core personnel have innumerous opportunities for participation in research projects that require the development and implementation of new techniques/protocols in flow cytometry.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for training new users of the core, troubleshooting flow cytometer instrumentation and software issues, and providing instruction on data acquisition and analysis for the facility users.

Previous experience in cell sorter operation and knowledge of FACS Diva flow cytometry software highly preferred.
