Flow Cytometry Research Technician

 

JOB SUMMARY:

The Center for Regenerative Medicine is seeking a highly motivated individual to join us at our Flow Cytometry Core Facility. For more information please visit http://crmflow.partners.org/ and http://hsci.harvard.edu/flow-cytometry-cores.

 

Responsibilities include:

*Performing routine cell sorts on our FACSAria II Cell Sorters

*Performing regular QC and maintenance of our Accuri LSRII and FACSCalibur Analyzers

*Assisting users with self-run data acquisition and computer-based data analysis

*Working with a diverse group of people in a busy customer service-oriented environment

 

Qualifications:

*B.S. /B.A., preferably in engineering, math, biological or physical sciences

*Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills

*Excellent attention to detail

*Proficient with both Windows and Macintosh troubleshooting

*Flexible schedule, including evening hours*Two-year commitment preferred

*Prior flow cytometry experience ideal, but not required; training will be provided
