Title: Research/QC Associate

Job Summary:  The Research/QC Associate will support projects done in collaboration with the Michael J Fox Foundation and will focus on performing sample testing with a variety of sample matrices and data analysis using commercially available ELISA kits. The Research/QC Associate will collaborate regularly on sample testing plans, execution, retesting and data analysis activities, validation projects, and QC testing of ELISA components.

Essential Functions:

•Perform high volume sample testing using commercially available ELISA kits and data analysis with high precision

•Work with the team to develop sample testing plans, timelines, summaries and other requirements provided by the customer

•Manage daily work flow independently and collaborate as part of a team to move projects through to completion

•Assist with QC testing of in-house ELISA kit components to ensure consistency and inventory supply (as needed)

•Participate in other collaboration/grant projects as needed.

Knowledge & Abilities:

•High precision and accuracy in ELISA testing

•Exhibit sound scientific approach to data analysis and ELISA execution

•Experience in performing ELISA assays and assay development

•Experience in sample testing and data analysis

•Experience working in a regulated environment (GLP, GMP, ISO)

Education:  Bachelor of Science or better in Biology or related field.
