University Cancer & Blood Center is currently hiring for a full  time Clinical Laboratory Technologist for our Athens, GA location.

Job Duties:

• Performs newly introduced tests to the laboratory that require defined skills Proficient is troubleshooting all applicable instruments in the department Demonstrates proficiency in all areas of testing in the department Consistently and independently performs the more complex level clinical tests by following department procedures Must be familiar with CAP, CLIA, and COLA requirements and  knowledgeable with the specialty requirements within those organizations.

 Requirements

• Associate's degree from an accredited college or laboratory is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Training in Flow Cytometry is preferred. Minimum 4 years experience in a health care setting preferred Must possess the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, multi tasking environment and maintain production and quality standards.
