LABS is looking for a Flow Cytometry Technologist. The Flow Cytometry Technologist will perform high complexity testing in the Immunogenetics Department including: (i) Stem Cell and T-Cell enumeration, (ii) enumeration of leucocytes in lueko-reduced blood products, and (iii) T and B cell crossmatches for solid organ transplant purposes.  The technologist will be instrumental in the validatation new instruments and tests, perform quality control on reagents, perform routine instrument maintenance and equipment in the laboratory.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in chemical, physical, biological science or a clinical laboratory science/medical technology program by an accrediting institution
• 3-5 years’ experience working with BD cytometers
• Ability to work four 10-hour shifts and on-call shifts.
