Facility Manager

 

Salary Range: £41,830 - £45,350 per annum

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Facility Manager to work in the BRC-funded Imaging and FACS facility within the Department of Medicine (Hammersmith Campus) at Imperial College London. 

 

The Facility offers state-of-the-art imaging and cell-sorting for patient-based cell phenotype and imaging studies. It is equipped with a customised BD FACS Aria II multi-parameter cell sorter and a Leica TCS-SP5 Confocal Microscope. The mission for the Facility is to perform cutting edge research. The Manager will provide expertise and support to researchers using the confocal and flow cytometry facilities.

 

You should hold a PhD or equivalent in Biological Science, Physical Science or a closely related discipline and/or have experience in a similar role and have experience of FACS, confocal microscopy imaging and analysis.

 

The post will be line managed by Dr Rosemary Boyton.

 

This is a full-time, fixed-term post until 30 March 2014 based at the Hammersmith Campus.
