Clinical Technical Applications Specialist

De Novo Software, the leading provider of clinical flow cytometry data analysis products, is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Clinical Technical Applications specialist. Our company is growing rapidly and offers a dynamic work environment and cutting-edge technology. Location is flexible for the right candidate.


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Technical support via phone and email
  • One-on-one Training
  • Assisting clients in designing sophisticated analysis layouts
  • Writing technical documentation, tutorials, manuals etc.
  • Representing De Novo Software at trade shows
  • Scheduling presentations and demonstrating software at clinical flow cytometry laboratories
  • Obtaining customer feedback
  • Suggesting new features and improvements to software, and working with developers to design them
  • The position will involve approximately 30% travel (predominately in the USA but also worldwide).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • At least 3 years experience in analyzing flow cytometry data in a clinical setting or 3 years experience selling/supporting flow cytometry products in the clinical laboratory market space
  • Experience creating analysis templates for clinical applications
  • General understanding and knowledge of common clinical type of cytometry assays performed in reference or hospital laboratories
  • Extensive general computer experience with common MS Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent English, interpersonal, presentation, communication, and software skills
  • Must have passport and drivers license
  • Able to provide pre- and post- installation application support
  • Able to interact with sales, sales support, customers, scientists
  • Self-motivated, high energy, deadline and goal oriented individual
  • Will be located within 1 hour flight of either coast of the USA

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Previous technical application specialist or diagnostic sales experience
  • Familiarity with multiple cytometry instrument platforms and software packages
  • Use of specialized flow cytometry techniques: cell cycle, proliferation, calcium flux analysis
  • CLS license or equivalent
  • BA/BS in Life Sciences, Biological areas, or related discipline

Salary is commensurate with experience.
