Senior Flow Cytometry Technologist Health Sciences Centre, Immunology (1.0 EFT)
Diagnostic Services of Manitoba is recruiting for the permanent full-time position of Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist at DSM’s Immunology Laboratory at Health Sciences Centre.
Under the general supervision of the Charge Technologist, the Senior Technologist is responsible for supervising and providing technical assistance to the Immunology Laboratory. The Senior Technologist is also responsible for performing the duties of a General Duty Technologist as required.
Interested applicants must be graduates of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology training program, who have attained certification and are currently actively registered with, or who are eligible for active registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Manitoba (CMLTM). Advanced academic achievement (e.g. ART or BSc) is preferred. A minimum of 2 years recent Flow Cytometry experience with demonstrated experience in 5+ color protocols is preferred. Experience conducting research and development projects is preferred. Supervisory experience is preferred. Current registration with a recognized professional body is preferred.
Anticipated Shifts: Days; Will be required to participate in standby and callback; 38.75 hours/week; 7.75-hour shifts
This position requires a satisfactory Security Check and Child Abuse Registry Check
as conditions of employment.
