Application Scientist – Tree Star, Inc.

Tree Star, Inc. is seeking an Application Scientist responsible for the western US. We are looking for applicants with a passion for science and computing who would like to join a dynamic team of Ph.D. scientists who support our scientific, training, sales, and marketing efforts for the west coast.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide technical workshops, seminars and trainings to customers.

Supports customers with technical questions and/or provides additional training via phone, webex, and email.  

Identifies and works with researchers to foster new product introduction/ acceptance in the scientific community.

Partners with office and engineering staff to test, identify, and assess development priorities and potentials.   

Must be able to travel 50%.

REQUIREMENTS:
Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Immunology, Hematology, Molecular Biology, or similar field with experience in a lab or technical role preferred. Candidates with M.Sc or B.S. will be considered with 6+ years of flow cytometry related experience.  Must have a solid background in biological sciences, immunology, stem cell, or cancer biology with understanding of procedures, concepts and lab experience. Flow cytometry experience preferred.  Must be a high energy person with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently.
