Dear John, The higher side scatter with an apparent absence of monocytes and bright CD22 expression in conjunction with the clinical history raises a concern for hairy cell leukemia. Documentation of bright expression of CD11c and positivity for CD103 and CD25 would be a way to confirm the diagnosis. The expression of CD10 is seen in a subset of hairy cell leukemia.
