If you sort a certain number say 30 onto a slide then count under the microscope how many
do you get? If you dont get very close to 30 then your drop delay is out of whack. If
you get close to 30 every time then some of you beads are probably sticking to the tube,
tubing etc. I wouldn't expect to see all the beads, 15000/30000 sounds about right unless
you are very careful, washing out the tube and tubing with lots of clean sheath etc
Best.

Hi All,
I'm seeing a discrepancy in what the Vantage sorter tells me it's
sorted and the actual numbers sorted. For example, I sorted for green
calibite beads (30,000) and when I re-ran them to check for purity there
were roughly 15,000 only. Does anyone have the same problem? The purity is
good (99%) and everything else checks out by the book?..Thanks in
advance..Ken
