I have heard from a lot of big time BD antibody users and they have not noticed any problems. The antibodies involved were PerCP, PE and FITC and different isotypes. It is very hard to believe this could be a problem in the manufacturing. We had a clod snap at the time these antibodies were shipped to us. We think they may have frozen in the back of a delivery truck. I have heard from on individual who received a vial once that was still frozen. Moral of the story- look for frozen material when receiving antibodies. Maryalice Maryalice Stetler-Stevenson Director Flow Cytometry Unit Laboratory of Pathology, NCI, NIH
