Hi

these cells  have high autofluorescence.   what are you trying to detect ? especially
if its GFP, try lowering the PMTs so that your mock transfected cells all fall in
the first decade, and be sure to exclude dead cells with PI.   You can also perform
autofluorescence compensation, to enhance your signal to noise.  good luck!
