Dear Jan, We bought it a few years ago from the ATCC (CRL-8020). It grows fine, produces moderately and isolation of the antibody by protG is lousy (in my experience). Whether it really blocks I can't tell. Looking for that I found that OKT6 seems to be a good one. Searching the list archive I found information that Ortho does not have the hybridoma anymore, Coulter was mentioned but I couldn't find the mab in their catalogue. Does anyone know where to get the mab or alternatively has a suggestion for another mab that blocks CD1a.
