I doubt whether you are going to get a positive answer here. We have not been able to develop single-cell indicators for cAMP, ATP etc and an antibody is likely to first not get to it in live cells and second, if it could, bind it and leave in fixed cells. There are fluorescent assays for cAMP in cell lysates but the only fluorescent cAMP indicator that I am aware of for use in single cells is one by Tsien that has to be microinjected (FlRChR). Sure would like to have one(s), however. andreas.simm@medizin.uni-halle.de wrote: > Hello everybody, > we would like to analyse cAMP in monocytes. > Does anybody know a good and reliable assay > to measure cAMP by flow cytometry (instead > of the radioactive RIA). > > Thanks for any advice > > Andreas > > PD Dr. Andreas Simm > Universitaet Halle Wittenberg > Klinik fuer Herz- und Thoraxchirurgie > Ernst-Grube Str. 40 > D-06120 Halle > > Tel.: +49 (0) 345 557 2647 > 552 2878 > FAX: +49 (0) 345 557 2782 > 552 2890
