Hi Elise,

I am a little bit confused about your job offer. Be honest, do you really
think you can hire or attract a qualified flow operator from the
international community (were you posted it) for a term of 8 months??? I
don't think so.
2 years contracts are at least necessary to interest people from abroad. As
I know you have an AustralAsian flow society. Make your offers there. Our
e-mail boxes are daily overfilled with mails which has to be worked out.
That takes time. Sorry for my harsh words.

Dear all,


A part time position (3 days/week) is available in the flow lab at
Monash Medical School, Alfred Hospital, Melbourne, Australia for
approximately 8 months (maternity leave vacancy). The flow lab consists
of a BD FACScan, FACSCalibur and FACStar Plus.  The individual will be
required to operate the FACStar Plus, supervise students, and perform
routine machine maintenance.  If anyone is interested please send me an
