Beware the misprint in the formula for precursor frequency in this article.
There should be a line between the two components in brackets (that is,  the first
bracketed component is divided by the second bracketed component).  Actually,  the
newest version of ModFit includes this calculation of precursor frequency --- so you
don't need to use the formula.
