We also do not have house vacuum, but we have house air. We have a
vacuum pump that works off of house air to generate a vacuum and works well
on our FACStarPlus. The unit measures 8"X3"X4". The name of this pump is
"PIAB Vacuum Pump M63". However, the telephone number in Hingham, Mass
that we have has been disconnected. This is a great little unit and we
would like to purchase a second one. Does anyone know if some other
company is manufacturing this product? Is PIAB the name of the company?
This pump was in place when I joined the lab and there is no paper trail.
Is there a comparable product somewhere else?
