It sounds like a Ki-1 (CD30) lymphoma to me and these usually have a large (even extra large) cell display on light scatter that is quite from normal lymphocytes. I'm curious about the "normal" CD30 you are seeing on the lymphocytes. In our experience CD30 is rarely found on normal lymphs and when seen in Ki-1 lymphoma it is usually bright i.e. the 3rd decade of the log amp. Is this what you are seeing? Hope this helps.
