Couple of suggestions for those with Mac software troubles: Some Mac housekeeping may be required, so....... The first thing I would do is remove and reinstall all of the software. Use the finder to locate everything with "Cellquest" in the title and dump it all to the trash. Empty the trash and restart the computer. Reinstall the software . Check for your error. If still there, zap the PRAM either using the key combination (option-apple-P-R) when restarting, or using something like TechTool. Another one to try is to reset the logic board memory. If you have a 7200 based Mac, there should be a silver box with a red button in it on the motherboard. Shut down the computer and press this button. the Mac has now forgotten everything it new about date, time, memory and other stored settings. Reboot and check for your error. Lastly, a not too painful procedure is to format the hard drive (reboot with your OS CD in the drive (hold C on restart) and run drive setup to initialize, then install the OS) and reinstall everything from scratch. Some people like to do this as a routine housekeeping measure anyway, as hard drives tend to accumulate clutter over time. Just make sure you saved away all the files you wanted (ideally, you should do a full backup first, just in case). Install only the BD software first and see how Cellquest performs. If it doesn't work now, get a new copy from BD. I haven't had too many problems not solved by removing and reinstalling the software, you just have to make sure you get all the pieces (preferences, control panels, etc.) Hope this has helped someone.
