WinMDI gates; BrDu protocol

Dear colleagues,

        1) Does anyone know how to gate using the WinMDI program?  The help
section was not very helpful and the logical gating system wasn't too logical
to me.  I'd appreciate some help please.

        2) Could someone provide a protocol/reference for BrDu labeling and
staining for DNA synthesis analysis by FACSCAN?  Preferably not a reference in
Cytometry because we don't get it in our library.
