What software are you using to make them?  I've made multi-session CDs
using Adaptec Toast (for Macintosh) and have had no problems reading them.
When you put the CD in, you get more than one CD icon on the desktop, each
corresponding to one of the sessions.  This is with any CD drive, not just
the CDR.
