To Anna Porwit-MacDonald >Haematopathology Lab., >Karolinska Hospital, Stockholm and the others Flowers Anna If I recall right, you have posted a case about a patient with a likely leukemia of NK cells, dont you?. I have some questions relate to this topic. Have you check if the cells produce Interferon ? by using intracytoplasmic staining and FACS (finally a FACS procedure). How are IL-12 levels of the patient?. Can you keep the cells in culture?, having cell lines of this patient would be great. (I would love to have one split of the cells for...) My guess is if that leukemia is a NK cell, you should be able to detect high IL-12 (very, very high) as well as interferon gamma.
