The pioneer of automated 4-color
analysis now brings it to near perfection

Flow-Count photograph

Direct absolute counts can be obtained in realtime for any selected cell population with Flow-Count Fluorospheres.

Sample handling photo

Samples: Whole blood sampling, reagent addition and 15 minute incubation.

Sample prep photo

Prep: A complete carousel of 32 samples is automatically lysed and fixed using Coulter's patented, no-wash Multi-Q-Prep System.

Absolute Counts With Realtime Convenience

Flow-Count Fluorospheres provide realtime absolute counts for any analyzed cell population. The concentration of fluorospheres is an assayed value allowing absolute count determination on the XL.

This easy to use, cost-effective application does not require listmode data reprocessing or separate counts from off-line instruments. Flow-Count Fluorospheres are conveniently packaged in a 200 test kit, eliminating the need for expensive single-use reagents. MCL Autoloader photo

Analysis: Carousel is transferred to the MCL autoloader for walkaway sample analysis at the push of one button.

Time graph

Comparison of time required to run 32 normal specimens using the tetraONE SYSTEM 4-color panel (one-tube), a 3-color panel (3 tubes) and a modified CDC 2-color panel (4 tubes) on an EPICS XL-MCL with Multi-Q-Prep Workstation. The tetraONE SYSTEM shows dramatic improvement in productivity and efficiency, with time and labor savings of 66% over the 3-color panel and 75% over the 2-color panel.
