this is some info for Eric Martz, as requested

1) WHPPC allows bidirectional xfer of data. hp>pc pc>hp, we have done this and
it works.

2) speed, not exactly sure but quick. I will post specific numbers, If memory
serves it is only a couple of seconds per file, 40k or so.

3) the machine we are using is a PS/2 model 70. I know the hard drive isn't as
fast as yours. Since we are transferring from a Bernoulli cartridge, I don't
think we'll get the speed that would be possible xfering from one hard disk to
another. I have to go now. I'll post the numbers when I get them
