Hi,
More on the HP <==> PC transfer discussion. It is worth remembering
that a really cheap method of data transfer is available by connecting a null
modem cable up the RS232 port on the HP, and then jointing it onto whatever
you wish to. We have then run Kermit on both computers and it works OK. This
may be worth remembering for those with no ethernet card in the HP and only
the occassional need to transfer files to other systems. As far as I'm
aware Kermit is available for UNIX, PC (Windows/dos), MAC etc at low, or no
cost.
