Peter Lopez,

On January 8, you wrote a reply to Eric Martz:

I just had a few "techie" questions for you.
(1) What is IDL? Is it like Precision Visual's PV-WAVE (a graphical,
statistical 'environment')?
(2) How do you transfer flow data to IDL? Do you convert to ASCII first, like
you would if you were using a spreadsheet program?
(3) What are you using for X terminals? If you are using PCs, what software,
and how does it perform?

Thanks!
