Dear Abby:
I need to emphasize that what you are experiencing
is not "par for the course" with respect to BD. They are
much much better than that! I can almost assure you that
the crux of the problem is that it is a multi-user instrument.
I am aware that the MacIntosh platform does have it's own
set of quirks but not to the extent to which you are describing.
I also realize that the Coulter and BD engineering philosphy
differ and that may take some time getting comfortable with
but the "Lemon" theory cannot be discounted. Get BD involved!
They should give you insight as to the source, user or instrument,
of your difficulties.
