Hello Everyone!!

Our institution recently purchased a FACS calibur. It has been in use for
the past three weeks and we have had very few days where there has not been
either an instrumentation problem or a (Cellquest) software problem.

Personally, I do not have very much experience with BD flow systems as I am
more of a "Coulter" person. I am wondering if others have had similar
problems with new instruments. Did we get a "lemon" or is this par for the
course?

One difference between this instrument and others that are used here is that
is a multi user instrument. There is no dedicated operator and that could
very well be part of the problem.

Anyone out there had similar experiences??
