Boston User Group for Cytometry
Meeting Announcement - Nov 30,1995
"Standardization, Quantitation and Quality Control in Cytometry"
We are happy to announce that the next Boston Users Group for
Cytometry meeting will be held on Thursday, Nov.30,1995 at the Veronique
Ballroom in Brookline, MA.
This meeting will run the entire day with presentions scheduled to
address the complex issues of standardization, quantitation and quality
control in cytometry. We will have presentations given by:
Dr. Alice L.Givan Dartmouth Medical School,Lebanon,NH
Dr. Anne A. Hurley Comprehensive Cytometric Consulting, Carver,MA
Dr. Carleton C.Stewart Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo,NY
Dr. James Mullikin Oncor ,Inc., Gaithersburg,MD
In addition we will have an afternoon problem-solving workshop, as
well as scheduled time to view vendor exhibits.
The meeting will start with registration , coffee and pastry
at 8:30am . Guest speaker presentations will be in the morning, followed by
a break for lunch, which will be provided. The problem-solving workshop
will follow lunch, and the meeting will conclude with a keynote presentation
by Dr.Carleton Stewart.
The meeting will take place at the Veronique Ballroom,20 Chapel St.
in Brookline, MA. The Ballroom is directly across the street from
the Longwood D-line "T" stop. Parking is limited, but is available at the
adjacent Longwood Towers parking lot;$4.00/first hour, $1.00 each additional
hour.
Those requiring lodging can inquire at the Best Western - Inn at
Children's, 617.731.4700, which is approx. 4 blocks from Veronique's.
Seating will be limited , so please reserve your
spot as soon as possible to take part in this informative meeting.
