PI & FITC ON THE ELITE
You do not say which configuation you are using for your optical
filters. If you are using PI to measure the cell cycle, it is best to
set the discriminator on red fluorescence. This would usually be on
PMT4 but depends on the filter layout.
If you are using PI to discriminate between dead and live cells,
you should trigger on forward scatter.
