Maybe that's the way they are or..

You could try centrifugating the IgM hard (eg 100 000g for 10 minutes)=20
to get rid of aggregates of antibody. In my former lab I used an airfuge=20
that reportedly would get those g numbers. Nowadays I do 40-50 000g for=20
a bit longer to lower background on home labelled antibodies.
