I do not know of any dyes, which are SPECIFIC for the sperm acrosome. I
recently read a paper by D.L. Garner et al., (1994) J. Androl. 15 (6), 620 -
629, in which they used a combination of SYBR - 14 and Propidium Iodide to
assess sperm viability. They also had a poster at the 28th Annual Meeting of
the Society for the Study of Reproduction.
