Hi Ken,

I've tried OS 9.1 and yesterday upgraded to 9.2.1 but it did not help.
I'm little bit confused because of the many different advices from this
mailing list.
Somebody says that they can work with Cellquest perfectly using the new
versions of OS9 ignoring the BDPAC opening problem. But without this I
can not adjust the detector settings.
Many of them say that I should use the BDInits installer 3.4. Yes I use
exactly this version and still does not work.
A third opinion suggest to use BDInits installer 3.5 - I'm waiting for
that from my local BD representative.
The dongle what I use is a regular ADB dongle resting still in the same
port where it work under OS 8.6.
I don't intend to use USB dongle, the FireWire/USB card is needed only
for some other USB devices like printer, USB FlowJo dongle and FireWire
CD writer.
And what is that key combo to BDPAC ?
Otherwise thinking logically my problem with opening BDPAC may
originate from some type of conflict between the OS and this version of
BDPAC. If I had problem with the dongle I guess I could not open
CellQuest but I can(!) just the aquiring functions are affected.

Thank you and everybody who tried to help me, Merry Christmas and Happy
New Year!

Pal
