The malaria pathogenesis group at the US Army Medical Research Unit is
currently looking for a post-doctoral fellow to study complement activation
in the setting of malaria in Kenya. The ideal candidate should be familiar
with in vitro assays to measure complement activation and regulation, flow
cytometry for detection of complement components and complement regulatory
proteins, and ELISA for the quantification of complement components in
plasma or serum. The fellowship has an attractive benefit package including
a very competitive salary, travel allowance, funds for supplies, housing
