LS and Annexin V staining buffer

We are seeing dramatic differences in light scatter properties of human B
lymphoblastoid cell lines following staining in high Ca++ annexin V
staining buffer compared to our usual flow buffer. Intensity of both
forward and side scatter signals are reduced in the annexin V staining
buffer. Any explanations?
