Once again, my name is Philip Efron and I work with murine dendritic cells at the Unviseristy of Florida. My new question is the following: I am transfecting mice in vivo with adenovirus expressing gfp. I can isolate the dendritic cell populations using CD11c and MHC II and I use 7-aad as a death marker. I was taught to compensate the FACS with CD8+ stained splenocytes. Obviously, this doesn't work well for GFP. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can compenstate the machine so that I can look at expression of this marker by flow from mouse lymphoid tissue?
