Dear Flowers, I need to do some Brdu labelling of mouse blood. I ordered the pharmingen kit but it is backordered and they say you can store samples at -80C for long term freezing. So, what shall I do when I receive the whole blood? Shall I simply wash then freeze in DMSO until I am ready to do the assay? Can the assay be done on whole blood or do I need to ficoll or lyse first? If I need to ficoll or lyse first, do I do this first and then freeze the sample or simply freeze the whole blood and after thawing do the ficoll or lysing procedure? Thanks in advance for your help.
