Hi Maciej,
Using CD14 as a "dump channel" and defining the lower limit of sensitivity
relative to MHC disparate control subjects worked well for us. You can find
the details in:

Hoffmann TK, Donnenberg VS, Friebe-Hoffmann U, Meyer EM Rinaldo CR, DeLeo
AB, Whiteside TL, Donnenberg AD. Rapid Communication: Competition of
Peptide-MHC Class I Tetrameric Complexes with Anti-CD3 Provides Evidence for
Specificity of Peptide Binding to the TCR Complex, Cytometry, 41:321-328,

Subject: Tetramers, p17, p24

Hello everyone,

I've been asked to establish a protocol for detection of the HIV p17 and p24
specific T cells by tetramer staining.

Does anyone have a good "starter" reference for the tetramer technique?

as well as a source of purified p17?

thanks for any input,

Maciej
