Murdoch Children's Research Institute Research Assistant The Murdoch Children's Research Institute (MCRI) oversees biomedical research at the Royal Children's Hospital. The MCRI is establishing a flow cytometry facility and seeks an operator/manager for this facility. The appointee's role will be the establishment, management and operation of a facility for flow cytometry analysis and cell sorting. Salary is negotiable in the range $42,314 -$51,535 (RA3-8). A tertiary degree in a relevant science discipline or equivalent qualification and extensive flow cytometry experience (preferably including operating cell sorters) is essential. Ideally, the successful applicant will have an active interest in the physics, optics and biological applications aspects of flow cytometry and aptitude for computer based analyses and instrument operation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a proactive, service-oriented work style are also required.
