Hey Barb
It looks over compensated to me and it appears that the cells positive for the x
parameter are autofluorescing hence the diagonal smear. I suppose it could also be
bleed though from another channel you haven't shown. How does the unstained sample
look? Is there autofluorescence? Which instrument is this done on?

HI,

Recently we've been looking at data from lymphocytes, CD4 and CD8 cells
undergoing apoptosis using Annexin V and have noticed that some lymphocytes and
CD4 cells exhibit tailing in the bottom right quadrant of the dot plot - it
almost looks very badly compensated. The plot attached is data from a sample
given a dose of 1.0 Gy. The 0 Gy dose (and Controls) do not exhibit this
pattern while samples that have been irradiated with more than 0.2 Gy do show
this pattern. Does anyone have any thoughts on what this is from?

(See attached file: flow plot.JPG)

Thanks.
Barb
